Stress is the body’s natural response to certain events that cause you to feel overwhelmed and unable to cope with life’s daily tasks and obligations. Everyone feels it at different times and to varying degrees. Our bodies have an automatic response to stress, called fight or flight. When fear is felt, a series of psychological and physiological changes in our bodies begin. Chemical changes release stress hormones that get you ready to fight it out or flee.

I'm a Counselling Psychologist situated in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, in close proximity to the areas of Rosebank and Sandton.

I work with individuals, couples, and families to address current challenges with a solution-focused approach. These challenges may include some more common complaints such as depression, and anxiety, or those trying to come to terms with trauma or bereavement.
